This 3D Printed tank was a rapid prototyping project made for an Intro to Mechanical Design class. The design I chose required advanced SolidWorks patterning techniques and parametric modeling in order to make the tread chains and sprocket subassembly mesh correctly. Parts were then adjusted for printing on MakerBot Replicator 2 printers. The final product rolls well with good sprocket-tread meshing.
